The project is funded by the European Union, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Finland.

Russian-Finnish Life Science Park is a large infrastructure project implemented within the framework of South-East Finland – Russia CBC Programme 2014-2020. 

The project fosters internationalization, as well as cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises in Russia and Finland in the R&D sphere by training specialists, providing consulting services, finding partners, providing information support, implementing pilot projects and research in the life sciences sector.

To contribute to the economic development and global competitiveness of Finland and Russia by positioning the cross-border region as an emerging life science destination

Project target groups in Russia and Finland:
  • Small and medium-sized enterprises; 
  • Life science clusters in Finland and Russia; 
  • Scientific and educational institutions.

  • Total budget: 3 500 000 Euro (programme funding: 2 800 000 Euro and co-financing: 700 000 Euro)
